AREAS I HELP WITH

Trauma, making sense of what still feels too close.

A solitary tree stands in a misty landscape with rolling hills and fog, early morning light, grassy foreground, soft pastel sky.

Some experiences don't stay in the past the way we wish they would. They show up in your sleep, your body, your reactions, sometimes long after you thought you'd "dealt with it". If that's you, nothing is wrong with you. This is how humans carry hard things, and it can get better.

Trauma can show up as

  • Flashbacks, intrusive memories, or nightmares.

  • Feeling on-guard, jumpy, or numb.

  • Avoiding reminders, places, people, conversations.

  • Difficulty trusting or feeling safe.

  • Reactions that feel "too big" for the situation.

How I can help

I offer a steady, safe, unhurried space to work with trauma at your pace. You're always in control of what we touch and when. Using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR (a structured therapy well-supported for trauma) alongside talking therapies, we focus first on safety and stability, then on gently processing what's been weighing on you.

  • If you're in immediate distress or crisis, please see the support lines in the footer. Mosaic Minds isn't a crisis service, but I can be part of your recovery.
